Piotrkow Trybunalski Association

Organized by a group of Holocaust survivors from Piotrkow Trybunalski (Poland) and their children, the goal of the Association is to honor their families and to use the preservation of various sites in the town as well as a website and journal to educate residents and visitors about the horrible costs of anti semitism and discrimination.  This is a town which at one one was about a third Jewish and had a long gistory of important Jewish life.  There are no Jews now residing there.  Specific sites targeted for preservation include the pre World War II central synagogue, the Jewish cemetary, and the site where Jews were gathered before being transported to concentration camp.
