  Dear Friends,

Over the last 12 years, Jonathan Mirin and Godeliève Richard have collaborated with U.S. and Swiss artists to create new plays on subjects like Crohn's disease, the disappearance of honeybees, electrosmog and most recently the history Colrain, Massachusetts. Through it all, the troupe has lived up to its name, telling these tales with music, humor, puppets, dance and images which leave audiences of all ages feeling more hopeful and empowered than when they arrived.

In 2014, Piti launched "Bee Weeks" in four Massachusetts cities and towns, leveraging the success of its To Bee or Not to Bee performance adding workshops, planting bee gardens, documentary screenings and more.to mobilize people, children and families to celebrate and protect pollinators.

In 2016 -17, Piti has big plans, including:

- Creating a new performance with local children and adults in collaboration with two time Grammy winner Bill Harley, who will be headlining our 8th Annual SYRUP: One Sweet Performing Arts Festival on March 18 -19. www.ptco.org/syrup

- Touring "Innocenzo" around the U.S.

- Developing a new solo clown show with Avner the Eccentric and a team of U.S. and Swiss artists that will tour around the Pioneer Valley and New England in spring, 2017

- Bee Week USA (a Bee Week national tour)
