A nonprofit organization

$400 raised by 10 donors

Neighborhood Allies will support the people, organizations and partnerships committed to creating and maintaining thriving neighborhoods.

Catalytic Project funds will support creative, innovative, collaborative programs or projects that improve Pittsburgh's neighborhoods. This initiative support collaborations between and among organizations, whether non-profit or for-profit, which have identified new and better ways of working together to make our neighborhoods healthier, safer and stronger. We are particularly interested in investing in early stage ideas and in responding to emerging needs and opportunities. Communities need resources to test concepts, study the feasibility of good ideas, and engage partners before new ideas can be launched. One niche for this program is in the project and program concepts that traditional funding sources may consider premature or untested. Grants can be used to support all costs, including staffing, related to achieving measurable results and moving concepts forward.
