The Celebrity Male Role Model Pixel Reveal Campaign

The Celebrity Male Role Model Pixel Reveal campaign is an innovative charity campaign that will:

• Raise US$1 million for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and The Pixel Project to fund their work to stop violence against women (VAW).
• Showcase the importance of including men in the movement to end VAW by uncovering portraits of celebrity male role models who share the goal of inspiring the global audience to stop VAW in their communities.

 

How It Works:

Picture a virtual jigsaw puzzle being assembled by people from San Francisco to Sydney who donate $1 dollar per pixel to play!

That is how the Pixel Reveal campaign will raise US$1 million – by getting the global community to collectively unveil a million-pixel mystery collage of world-exclusive Pixel Project Celebrity Male Role Model portraits.

Each dollar donated will trigger the reveal of a single pixel, and as more and more people donate to the campaign, each celebrity male role model will be gradually revealed in turn. Donations start at just US$10.

As each celebrity male role model is revealed, an exclusive YouTube video message from him will be unveiled on the site to kickstart conversations about VAW around the globe.
