PK Move has been selected as the recipient of a 1:1 community matching grant from the City of Alexandria’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Activities (RPCA). Our project, PK Move Pop-Up Playground, includes the purchase of pop-up playground equipment as well as a 3-year series of free, city-wide parkour lessons at various community events and happenings. PK Move’s project was chosen because our commitment to share the transformative power of parkour with special needs groups aligns perfectly with RPCA’s mission to offer innovative recreational fitness programs for all. The pop-up is a modular, portable fitness equipment system for children ages 5+ through 105. Its flexible design combined with PK Move’s adapted parkour programming will provide play/training opportunities for all ages and abilities. No prior experience with movement is required to be able to use Pop-Up. Please help PK Move raise $5000 to make this project a reality!
