The Plains Volunteer Fire Company is located just north of I-66 in Fauquier County. The department's first due consists of approximately 60 square miles with a wide variety of terrain including Bull Run Mountain to the east and a high volume of traffic through the I-66 and Route 17 corridors generates a large portion of the station's call volume.
This year, we will be taking delivery of a new rescue engine. This new apparatus will provide both fire suppression and rescue capabilities for incidents such as complex vehicle accidents. We invite you to support us in purchasing the specialized equipment required for our new rescue engine.
