Plan-It Life Inc

Plan-it Life, Inc. was founded in 2001 by CEO/Administrator Shelia Marshall McLean, LMFT, a clinical psychotherapist with a passion for fostering growth and self-awareness in adolescent youth. Mrs. McLean envisioned a diagnostic, assessment and stablization residential facility that would address the needs of the astonishing number of abused/neglected and homeless youth in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Plan-it Life, Inc. initiates positive life experiences and coping skills to troubled teens. The program utilizes activities such as individual and group psychological analysis, anger management, structured in-house tutoring as well as recreational outings to cultivate social skills and increase educative expansion. Residents also participate in culinary and musical training as a therapeutic outlet. Additional enrichment modalities include: attending nature themed weekend retreats, professional sporting events and theatre.

The program has proved successful in the following areas: providing food, shelter, clothing, security, social and life skills development, family reunification, adoption into foster care, graduation, and tools for a smooth transition into adult independent living.

In December, Plan-it Life, Inc. will host a Christmas charity event to provide the youth with holiday festivities and gifts from their wish lists.
