Plant the Seed

Plant the Seed inspires and empowers young people to effect meaningful change in their lives through hands-on learning in school and community gardens. We better connect them to the land, their learning and one another. We see sowing, preparing and sharing food as a powerful tool for starting cross-cultural conversations and growing together in community. We believe everyone has a right to fresh, affordable, culturally-relevant foods and that young people are capable of effecting meaningful change in their diet, their lives and their communities.
