Plateau Restoration was founded as an agriculturally based non profit 23 years ago to lead an effort to actively involve the growing number of visitors in the care of public lands in Southeastern Utah and on the Colorado Plateau.

Every year we host hundreds of students and visitors in service-learning programs, contributing thousands of hours of on-the-ground work to improve and restore landscapes for wildlife and for future generations. Over those years we have worked closely with the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife and the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to complete important resource management projects.

We educate hundreds of visitors about threats to our fragile lands and encourage stewardship of our natural resources. We use innovative and creative approaches to restoration and share results with the resource managers of our public lands.

We provide educational outreach through our Moab Geo Tours program that takes participants to the Parks and Monuments of SE Utah and on the Colorado River near Moab. We utilize these awesome lands as an outdoor classroom with expert speakers and veteran guide/educators. We are licensed outfitters with all federal and state agencies.

Donations from Giving Tuesday will help underwrite programs for students to gain skills and experience that can be vital in their search for career employment. Funds will also be utilized for underwriting our internship programs.
