Women are still significantly under-represented in this country’s public policy decision-making process, as members of legislative bodies, the courts, government agencies, and non-profit groups working as policy advocates.

Yearly, PLEN brings college women from colleges and universities across the nation to Washington, D.C. to experience first-hand how public policy is shaped and implemented at the national level.

During PLEN seminars, students meet with and learn from women leaders making and influencing public policy at the highest levels in the Congress, courts, federal agencies, corporate sector, policy research and advocacy organizations and the news media.

By supporting PLEN, you play a vital, central role in helping us carryout out our mission to prepare college women to become leaders in public policy and politics.

Your support will allow PLEN to continue to fill this nation’s pipeline of women leaders through our career training seminars.

These seminars provide professional, career, and leadership development for college women before they enter the workforce so that at her first job, she will be more confident and better prepared to go farther faster in her career.
