Our Work:  The Plummer Home is a long-term residential program for men 18 years of age and older, who are homeless veterans or homeless men with life controlling issues.  All residents must be willing to commit to the program.  Referrals come from; families, shelters, law enforcement agencies, community agencies, court systems or potential residents.  Resident's intake and clinical assessments will be done by the Director or by a clinical professional.  Each prospective resident must complete an application.

General Guidelines:  The primary purpose of the program is to focus on restoration, responsibility, and accountability.  Therefore, guidelines have been established to promote a spiritual and disciplined atmosphere in order to accomplish a healthy, pure, and holy lifestyle.  There is no limit to what you can achieve as long as you operate within the boundaries.  Progression through the program is determined by the residents attitude, compliance with house rules and interpersonal relations with peers.  Program progress is also measured by the timely achievement of individual case management goals.  Men that are currently married will be assigned to a social worker or case manager.

Action Steps:  The Plummer Home is committed to helping men.  Plummer Enrichment Ministries has experienced qualified persons to assist residents in learning to live and maintain a self-sufficient, independent and productive lifestyle.  Meeting the immediate needs of the resident comes first.  Continuing education of our staff in Case Management, Individual and Group Counseling, Team Building and Leadership Development is an ongoing task.  In an effort to deliver quality services at the absolute lowest cost, the leaders of the Plummer Home continue to attend leadership development, homeless assistance conferences, and local networking with partner agencies.
