Donate to PAREI (Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative) during NH Gives and join in our Summer Solstice appreciation party for both you and summer on Tuesday, June 17 from 6-9pm. There will be music by Jim Tyrell, a silent auction, sundae bar, Local Foods Plymouth tasting, games, and activities for all ages.

Each NH Gives 2025 donation will support all of PAREI's programs including its energy initiatives, NH Solar Shares, Local Foods Plymouth, Farm-to-Community Food Shares, and Kitchen Inspired.
The Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative (PAREI), founded in 2004, offers community-based programs/services to help individuals/businesses reduce energy use or produce solar energy. In 2006 PAREI expanded to include Local Foods Plymouth (localfoodsplymouth.org) to support local agriculture and reduce the miles food travels. In 2012, PAREI took over the Button Up NH program working with energy activists and NH's utilities to offer statewide home energy savings workshops. In 2017, PAREI created NH Solar Shares (nhsolarshares.org) – building community solar PV arrays designed to share the sun with our neighbors resulting in solar bill credits for local income-eligible families. In September 2020, PAREI developed Little Gardens Everywhere (LGE), focusing on increasing the number of gardens in our community for a more diverse, accessible, and local food supply.
