Pocatello Free Clinic

In 2015, The Pocatello Free Clinic, with the support of volunteers and partners, delivered over $741,000 in services to uninsured, low-income individuals. Medical and dental exams numbered 2,071 for 829 unduplicated individuals.

The quality of one's health should not be dependent on socioeconomic or insurance status, nor race or ethnicity. We believe that all individuals have a right to address health needs.

One of Healthy People 2020’s goals is to achieve health equity and improve the health of all groups defined as the “attainment of the highest level of health for all people."

Achieving health equity requires valuing everyone equally, with focused and ongoing societal efforts to address avoidable inequalities, historical and contemporary injustices, and the elimination of health and health care disparities.

Healthy People 2020 envisions a society in which ALL people live long, healthy lives. We pledge to do our part to carry out that vision.
