Point Foundation (Point) empowers promising lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ) students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential – despite the obstacles often put before them – to make a significant impact on society.

Point makes change happen through scholarship funding, mentorship, leadership development and community service training for LGBTQ students. In just a few weeks, the newest class of Point Scholars will be announced. They are students eager to get their higher education degree, but are in need of financial support.

Use Give OUT Day to help LGBTQ students with one of the expenses of going to college: the cost of books and supplies. The average college student spends $1,200 a year for textbooks, lab fees and supplies required for classes, but not included in the cost of tuition.

Donations to Point for Give OUT Day will make it possible for LGBTQ students to start the next semester not just with the books they need, but also the knowledge that they have the support of people like you who want to see them succeed.
