Pools For Kids, Inc is a non-profit 501c(3) organization with the mission to help build and upgrade aquatic-sports facilities for youth athletics in Colorado.

Pools for Kids has worked to support and upgrade many aquatic-sports facilities in the Denver Metro Area over the last decade. Most recently a Pools For Kids capital campaign was instrumental in ensuring the reconstruction of a local pool included diving boards and two platforms so it can remain the true community gem it has been for the last 40 years.  This rebuild, nearing completion now, will have a tremendous community impact as swimmers, divers, water polo players, and athletes from many other sports currently drive many many miles to use this facility.

By giving to Pools For Kids on this inaugural Youth Sports Giving Day your generosity will help provide much needed lacking equipment to allow for the safest and highest quality training for youth athletes and get more Colorado kids engaged in sport.

Since September 4th, there has already been a tremendous response to Youth Sports Giving Day, and over $1.5 million has already been raised to support youth sports across the state. The original $1 million in matching funds has been expended, but due to the enthusiasm for supporting youth sports, the Daniels Fund has added an additional incentive fund of $500,000. This fund will bedistributed on a percentage basis to ensure every gift made through September 30 continues to make an impact. So what does this really mean?

Every donation made after the original $1 million match fund was expended will be boosted by the additional $500,000 incentive fund. All non-profits receive a % of the fund equal to the % they raise for the YouthSports Giving Day campaign (after the original match funds were expended). Raise 10%, get 10% of the incentive fund. The $250,000 match cap per organization still applies.

Example: For instance, if the total Youth Sports Giving Day campaign raises $3 million in donations, the additional incentive fund will be distributed based only on the$2 million raised after the original $1 million match was fully utilized. So, if Youth Nonprofit X raises $200,000 after the initial match is expended, they will receive 10% of the incentive fund at the end of the campaign.Organizations will still be capped at $250,000 in total matching funds, and donations that were already matched will not count toward their share of the incentive fund.

All match fund calculationsare verified post-campaign to ensure the most accuratedisbursement of funds to participating nonprofits.
