Thank you for coming to this page to donate for #GivingTuesday.  We are thankful for an anonymous donor that is matching the first $1,000 in donations.  This will include donations made through other channels as well.  And as we ask for donations, both financial and volunteer time, we are also looking to the past and the future to find those things that make us #Grateful. 

Telling the Stories that Matter – Enriching the conversation. While the playhouse was dark, we were able to bring subject matter to our audiences via Zoom that brought a challenging, enlightening, or different perspective to the magic of live theatre.

Sense of Community  -  The support of our community helped the playhouse survive a devastating financial year.  Volunteers, corporate sponsors, and individual donations demonstrated how important keeping live theatre is to our community.  Come join our family!

Our History – The building that allows us to create this magic. In September 1971, we celebrated the grand opening of the Port Angeles Community Playhouse. Fifty years later, the PA Community Playhouse is still the only building in the county built exclusively for live theatre. We feel our place within the social structure of the area and are forever grateful for our playhouse, props, wardrobe and all the assets in the building we have at our fingertips.

Reopening –  Our September re-opening production of The Savannah Sipping Society was terrific and the support of our community was heart warming! The significance of a play about middle-aged women redefining their place in the world was a perfect fit for opening our 69th season as we celebrate the Playhouse reaching middle age and, like the characters in the play, redefining the future of live theater. 

Thankful for YOU!  Our patrons, volunteers, actors, directors and community. We could not do this without all of you!

Throughout the remainder of 2021 and into 2022, we will celebrate and share more of the building's beginnings and what lies behind the stage.  We are grateful for your financial support that allows us to both safely reopen the playhouse as well as make contingency plans to assure live theatre continues for future generations.
