Positive Mental Health Inc

Positive Mental Health Inc. has been developed from a passion to provide persons suffering from psychiatric disorders with hope and opportunity to have a better quality of life.

This is a population that is significantly stigmatized by their illness’ which causes a severe impact to their already negatively impacted lives. A population that does not have access to a community without feeling judged or ridiculed, leading to increased isolation and reduced spiritual connections.

Positive Mental Health Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Twin Falls, Idaho providing a day program for an underserved population in our community. 

Membership is open to anyone who has a history of mental illness. We provide a community intentionally organized to support individuals living with the effects of mental illness. Through participation people are given the opportunities to rejoin the worlds of friendships, family, spirituality, important work, employment, education, and to access the services and supports they may individually need. We provide an environment for people who have had their lives drastically disrupted, and need the support of others who believe that recovery from mental illness is possible for all. Most importantly a community of people who are working together toward a common goal.

A place of hope, companionship and social interaction. We offer a safe, caring environment where friendships are made and nurtured, where a sense of family and unity abound and personal strengths are emphasized. Most importantly, it is a place of belonging!

Positive Mental Health Inc. is dedicated to providing healthy alternatives; stigma reduction, self-advocacy, spirituality and strengthening interpersonal relationships related to the negative impact associated to mental illness. 

We assist and encourage adult individuals to be proactive in their recovery by develop routine, reduce isolation, build peer relationships and explore vocational skills. We focus on strengths instead of focusing solely on disabilities.
