Post Falls Food Bank

Each weekend, hundreds of children in our area go without food. 

The Post Falls Weekend Nutrition Backpack Program is a component of the Post Falls Food Bank’s mission of providing hunger relief in our area. We help feed local school-aged children during non-school hours, specifically weekends. 

Volunteers assemble weekend "packs" that contain nutritious, non-perishable, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare meals for children. Parents grant permission for their children to participate in the program, and the identities of students who participate in the Post Falls Week-end Nutrition Backpack Program are confidential. Only information necessary for the delivery of each "pack" is shared with the Post Falls Food Bank Weekend Nutrition Program coordinator and the school representative.  

In order to sustain this program and feed hungry children on weekends, we need your help to raise $5,000--- and that will feed 25 children for an ENTIRE school year.
