The Praxis Center for Church Development

The Praxis Center for Church Development is dedicated to the extension of the Kingdom of God through the multiplication of disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this through a focus on the health, growth and multiplication of local Christian churches and local church leaders. Through a focus on developing the personal life, spiritual awareness and strategic ministry skills of the leadership of the Church – at the national, regional and local church level – we seek to see more and better disciples and local churches reaching the harvest.

These five values define what Praxis does and how we approach ministry:

• The Local Church – led by indigenous leaders – as God’s preferred ministry platform.

• Enlightening church leaders to Biblically based principles for making disciples, leading to church health, growth and multiplication; and the development of next-generation leaders.

• Encouraging leaders through relationships and peer networking, building “learning communities” for existing and emerging leaders.

• Enriching leaders through training in the practical application of Biblical principles for Kingdom-centric living and Kingdom extension.

• Empowering those leaders through mentoring, coaching and sponsoring

Reformation, Revolution and Awakening

Praxis is about a community of people in partnership with Christ in facilitating a reformation in the Church in the West, leading to a spiritual revolution - and ultimately – an awakening in the world.
