Pray the City

Pray
the City’s mission is to gather Christ followers to pray scripture in unity
over Amarillo.

We
hold monthly prayer gatherings, participate in prayer events, deliver essential
supplies and care packages to local nonprofits, and develop the Amarillo Month
of Prayer scripture calendar.  As we keep coming together in support of
our community, our goal is to glorify God while building unity.

Our
next focus is to:

1. 
develop and distribute the Amarillo Month of Prayer scripture
calendar for September 2026. We will
feature local community-serving organizations with relevant scriptures. 
Pick your place.  Pick your time.  Help us pray.  

2. 
continue to provide operational and spiritual support to local
nonprofits and organizations by contributing supplies,
gift cards, and scripture cards, along with onsite
prayer and encouragement, at least six times in the year.

Led prayer and worship on Patriot Day at the Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home.

Provided snacks to first responders.

Led the prayer gathering and donated a developmental chair at the Turn Center.

Prayed at Eastridge Mission Center.

Organized and led many prayer gatherings, like at Sharing Hope Ministry.

Planned, organized, and hosted the Amarillo Day of Prayer.

Prayed over the staff at Heal the City.

Worshiped at the Amarillo Day of Prayer.

Developed and distributed the Amarillo Month of Prayer scripture calendar and prayed for 34 local organizations.
