Presque Isle Partnership

Hello friends of Presque Isle!

From all of us at Presque Isle Partnership (our staff,
volunteers, board members, and community partners) thank you for taking a moment
to learn more about our Presque Isle family!

As you consider a gift in support of Presque Isle State Park,
know that your contribution empowers us to continue our vital work in improving
and expanding accessibility for all visitors, enhancing park amenities to
create a more enjoyable experience, ensuring public safety, preserving the
park's rich history, providing educational opportunities, and fostering a
culture of conservation.

Since our founding almost 30 years ago, we have accomplished
remarkable feats. Accessibility through beach mobility
mats, beach wheelchairs, and ADA fishing piers; Park amenities
through new picnic tables, a pavilion, viewing scopes, a nature playground
and a map turtle observation platform; Public safety through
the construction of two lifeguard stations and supplying rescue equipment; historic
preservation through the restoration of Waterworks Gear Tower,
Perry Monument area upgrades, and leading the creation of public-private
partnership that kickstarted the Presque Isle Lighthouse restoration in 2016; Education
through funding DCNR-led environmental education programs and information
panels throughout the park; and Conservation through the
initiation of an invasive species removal program, renewable energy
alternatives on the park, and the present development of a native tree planting
program.

All this is proof that this Partnership works!

Your gift demonstrates a profound understanding of the
importance of these focus areas and their impact on the community and the
environment. It serves as an inspiration to us and strengthens our resolve to
create a better and more sustainable future for Presque Isle State Park.
