Over 65,000 children are abused or neglected in New York State every year-- that number fills Madison Square Garden more than three times.

Our goal is to prevent abuse before it occurs. One way we do this is through our advocacy.

We educate policymakers throughout the year and urge them to support programs and policies that prevent abuse-- such as maternal, infant, and early child home visiting; child care; and preconception care.
