Programa Velasco

Program Velasco is a registered 501 (c) (3), US nonprofit organization, and our mission is to educate and empower children and families to create social change in El Salvador. Our main projects consist of supporting access to early childhood education for economically disadvantaged families with children and providing social work and psychological services to further empower children and their families. We also facilitate a Women’s Empowerment Project that strengthens women-owned local microenterprises and encourages their own personal empowerment. We partner and operate out of the facilities of a Salvadoran non-profit organization, Asociación Nuevo Amanecer de El Salvador (ANADES), which promotes development in urban and rural marginalized communities through projects focused on early childhood education, community organizing, public health care, and organic agriculture.
