Project 4 Humanity

In the city that never sleeps and that is full of money there is a big problem, it's called homelessness. During the last Census count there was over 14k homeless on the streets and in shelters. This number does not include the people who are sleeping in their cars our couching surfing just to stay indoors. So at any given time we have over 34k homeless people and families in Las Vegas. The number is vastly rising. Families are loosing jobs daily and becoming homeless, families are being dropped off in Nevada because other states are running out of funds to help. When they get here they have no Idea what to do or where to go for the help they need. That's where the Project 4 Humanity street team comes in. We have Outreach teams out on the streets daily assisting the homeless in getting into housing, going to detox, getting medical and food stamps, bus passes and jobs. 

Project 4 Humanity’s mission is to bridge the gap for the most vulnerable in our society, those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity, by directly providing meals, clothing, and other necessities.  Project 4 Humanity works through service access barriers with dignity and hope, to assist and connect those in need with mainstream services.

By providing direct assistance in creating an action plan, Project 4 Humanity provides a viable path to help transition the homeless back into mainstream society.
