The world possesses the scientific ingenuity and willpower to return our oceans to health and to come to the aid of the communities that depend on it. Media coverage of the plight of the ocean is accelerating and public awareness is rising. People are poised to act, but they need to know what to do.

We are launching a global BLUE campaign to provide the roadmap: how to influence decision makers, drive public opinion, change behaviors, mobilize social networks, and generate resources to improve ocean health. The movement will make blue to the ocean what pink is to breast cancer. 

 

The multi-year BLUE campaign is leveraging the most creative minds in communications, entertainment, and public relations to advance the goal of saving our ocean - and ourselves. The BLUE campaign will give people a way to learn about the ocean, to pledge behavior changes, to make informed decisions on what to buy and how to dispose of waste. And it will give people a way to donate. Funds raised will support the work of conservation organizations in 100 areas around the globe. 

We need your help.  The ocean is the largest, most serious problem facing the world.    Together we can fix it.

The suggested donation list is merely a sample of areas that will be supported through the campaign. Funds raised will go to launch the campaign that will support the areas listed as well as many others around the globe.
