RESTORE HOPE TO TEENS - BUILD THRIVING FAMILIES - EMPOWER SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITIES

This has been the mission of Project Patch since its founding in 1984. Since then, we have helped over 1,000 teens physically, emotionally, and spiritually at our Youth Program on the beautiful shores of the Payette River in Garden Valley, Idaho. Additionally, we offer The Family Experience, a retreat to help families pull together in a world that is pulling them apart, as well as seminars and resources to help communities support these struggling teens and families.

In our most recent newsletter, we share how beneficial recreational activities are for mental health in the article
NEW HOBBIES, NEW HOPE: HOW RECREATION HELPS TEENS HEAL.
That is why all funds raised this Giving Day will go towards activities that help our teens heal—
and that might just be the start of a new life-long hobby!

PROJECT PATCH BELIEVES:

  • In the uniqueness and value of every young person, including those who have become troubled.
  • That every at-risk youth deserves an environment where they can find reclamation.
  • In the necessity of a program dedicated to the individual needs of each young person.
  • In the necessity of teaching responsible living to every troubled youth.
  • That healthy relationships between adults and youth are indispensable for troubled youth to achieve healing.
  • That assisting troubled youth cultivate a relationship with Jesus Christ is the most effective means of healing.

The need for mental health counseling and care among teens has grown exponentially over the last two years. At Project Patch, we do all we can to help struggling teens and families, but we cannot do this alone. The majority of our teens receive financial assistance to attend, which would not be possible without the generous support of our donors.

When you give to Patch, you give hope to teens and families who need help the most.
