Project Reality

Project Reality has been saving lives in Utah through our opioid addiction treatment services since 1970. At Project Reality, we view substance abuse as a chronic disease with complex biological, psychological, and social components. We provide mental health and substance abuse counseling in conjunction with medications.  We believe combining therapy, substance abuse counseling, and medication with an individual's commitment to recovery is a highly effective method for achieving the goals of treatment.

Story of Hope and Healing:

"From the first day I walked into Project Reality until now, I have never used pain pills again.  I was ready to get stop and methadone allowed me to get past the stumbling block that was withdrawal.  One of the greatest parts of my recovery at Project Reality is that I am in control of my detox.  When I feel ready I can go down on my dose as fast or slow as I'm comfortable with.  When I tell people about the program, I tell them the truth... methadone saved my life.  I know for a fact that I would be either dead or a junkie on the streeet if not for the help I found at Project Reality.  I am so grateful to all my therapists, to all the nurses, doctors, and staff.  I have my life back, I'm happy again, and now I am a good mother and wife."
