Yes Prep Public Schools Inc

Since opening our first campus in 1998, YES Prep has grown purposefully and methodically into a high achieving public charter school system that today serves 8,000 students on thirteen campuses in the Houston area. We have created a replicable and sustainable model for what is possible within the public education system, proving that all children, everywhere, have the potential to achieve academically.

Building on our strong foundation, we plan on opening six more schools in Houston and in 2015 we're expanding to Memphis, Tennessee, and eventually, in Louisiana. 

All of our growth is driven by our mission - to increase the number of low-income students who graduate from college prepared to compete in the global marketplace and committed to improving disadvantaged communities. 

We are continually striving to create life-changing opportunities for more students in more communities and we're honored than many of our alumni have joined us in that mission.  This past year, two of our alumni became the founding school directors of our two newest campuses.  In total, we have over 50 alumni that work at YES Prep, 25 of whom are working full-time as teachers and leaders committed to improving their own communities.

As our population and economy evolve and shift, there has never been a more critical time for ALL students to attain a college degree in order to compete and lead productive, successful lives.  This is essential not only for themselves and their families, but for our success as a country.
