Kiwanis of the Colorado River

Kiwanis of the Colorado River have partnered with Project Playground to plan, fund and build a playground in Topock AZ.  Topock is a small rural town with a population of about 1,800 people.  We have over 200 kids who don't have a safe place to play on weekends, evenings and during school breaks. We envision a playground that will be used by multiple generations to celebrate life and family and encourage physical activity as well as family and community bonding.

Project Playground was started in October of 2012 with the goal of having the project completed by October 2013. Our project budget is $80,000.  We have been awarded a matching grant from the BHHS Legacy foundation which will match every dollar with two dollars up to our project goal of $80,000.  Including the matching grant we are at $36,000.
