Founded in 1975, Pro Seniors champions the rights, dignity and access to justice of older Ohioan's at no cost to our clients. Our attorneys and advocates help older Ohioans resolve legal and long-term care problems, and fight Medicare fraud and scams. 

• Legal Helpline attorneys provide information and advice to Ohio residents age 60 and over. Our staff attorneys help local seniors resolve problems with Medicaid, Medicare, Veterans benefits, Social Security and more. Our Pension Rights Project helps people in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Tennessee to resolve issues with their pensions.
• Long-Term Care Ombudsman staff and volunteers speak up for the rights of people using long-term care services and supports, including nursing homes, assisted living, adult care homes. Ombudsmen educate, empower and work with residents to resolve concerns. 
• Ohio Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) staff and volunteers help Ohio seniors recognize and avoid healthcare fraud, identity theft and scams.

Every Age Matters. Annually we celebrate Seniors Who Rock, challenging outdated ideas about aging by recognizing our honorees for their continuing service to improve our community, add their own vibrancy, and motivate others. Aftab Pureval, Mayor of the City of Cincinnati joined us in 2025 to proclaim August 20, 2025 "Pro Seniors Day" in the City of Cincinnati.
