How does Prosperity Catalyst carry out this mission?

Prosperity Catalyst builds on lessons learned from economic development to empower women. By providing a business model that is uniquely scalable and profitable, our goal is to allow vulnerable women the opportunity to build sustainable, women-run businesses that are successful beyond their initial incubation period with Prosperity Catalyst. Currently Prosperity Catalyst has programs in Haiti and Iraq, where we work with women who are small-holder farmers, artisans, beekeepers, war widows and survivors of gender-based violence.

How does my donation help Prosperity Catalyst?

Donations of any amount will help us provide technical and business training to women who are artisans or active along the artisan value chain.  Donations also help us to connect women entrepreneurs to financing and international buyers. Your contributions will help women launch or expand a business, invest in new  equipment and raw materials, build partnerships, and, most importantly, build a team with the skills and passion to make this all happen.
