Coalition to Protect America's National Parks

A nonprofit organization

In pursuit of its vision, the Coalition studies, educates, speaks, and acts for the preservation and protection of the National Park System and mission-related programs of the National Park Service (NPS). The Coalition is an active and respectful partner with the National Park Service and other like-minded organizations. As the National Park Service has entered its second century, the Coalition actively and creatively seeks to strengthen the long-term foundation of the National Park Service and System.

The Coalition to Protect America's National Parks is made up of over 4,600 members, all of whom are current, former, and retired employees and volunteers of the National Park Service. Together, they have accumulated over 50,000 years of experience caring for America's most valuable natural and cultural resources. Outside of their work with the Coalition, our members have a wide range of skills and expertise gained during their careers with the National Park Service.
