The mission of Providence Heights Alpha School is to develop servant leaders and innovative thinkers by providing a distinguished Catholic education. We strive to model Christian values rooted in trust, fostering compassion, leadership, and social justice in a community that welcomes children of all faiths and cultures.

Providence Heights Alpha School is a private Catholic School sponsored by the Congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence and works in collaboration with the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Alpha School meets and exceeds all requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Education as well as the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Providence Heights Alpha School provides a quality education to students in kindergarten through eight grades in a nurturing environment by maintaining a low student/teacher ratio. At Alpha, we believe in using traditional and innovative methods and welcome children of all faiths and cultures. We provide a comprehensive, integrated, challenging and rigorous curriculum and strive to model Catholic values rooted in trust.
