Provident serves nearly 40,000 clients annually - individuals, youth, families, and older adults - through our program areas: Counseling & Access Center; Psychiatric Services; School Based and Community-Based Behavioral Health Programs; Crisis Services 24/7 hotlines; and Mary Ryder Home residential services for women.

Founded in 1860, Provident continues our founder's mission of helping St. Louis' most underserved by providing exceptional behavioral health services. Together with Mary Ryder Home, founded in 1930 to house vulnerable women, we celebrate 254 years of combined service to our St. Louis community.
