Nevada PTA was created in 1941 as a constituency of National PTA to promote closer cooperation among parents, teachers, educators and members of the community, who work in large and small ways to a nuturing healthy environment for children. 

As part of the largest child adovacy association in the nation, Nevada PTA reminds our state of its obligations to children and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students. 

Our vision focuses on bringing all parties in a community together for a common cause - to advocate for and improve the lives of all children. 

Nevada PTA is a powerful voice for children, a resource for parents and a strong advocate for public education. 

Nevada PTA provides training and support to more than 130 local PTAs. 

Nevada PTA has over 17,000 members.
