George Washington School PTA

Here at George Washington Elementary School we consider ourselves the Patriots. In order to teach and encourage positive attitudes and behaviors at GW, the learning community created "Patriot PRIDE." The acronym "PRIDE" encompasses the ideas that we all strive towards every day as we continually work at making our learning community a better place. P:Positive interactions by words and by action, with a smile R: Respecting others by acknowledging, sharing, and listening to each other I: Include and invite all to work and play together D: Determination means, "I can do it if I stick to it!" E: Excellence means, "I will reach for the stars by giving it my all!" The overall purpose of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
