Preserve the 'Burg

Preserve the 'Burg (PTB) is an incorporated tax exempt 501(c)3 organization. We seek to educate, advocate and celebrate what is special about St. Petersburg, Florida. 

• As an inclusive group of enthusiastic community residents, we are connected to one another through our shared love of this city, who educate residents, businesses, and local leadership to promote smart growth in the area.
• Our organization advocates to keep our city’s strong sense of place. From supporting local businesses and our art community to assisting neighborhoods seeking historic district designation, we promote thoughtful development that aligns with St. Pete’s historic character.
• We host a number of events throughout the year to celebrate our beautiful city and bring our community together. We gather to share and honor the stories of our past while we look to our future.

To get involved in Give Day Tampa Bay 2018, we have partnered with Black Crow Coffee Co and Banyan Cafe & Catering, long time supporters of PTB. Craftsman House Gallery and Cafe has offered 20 percent of proceeds from food and drink sales on May 1, 2018 will go back to Preserve the 'Burg.

• 9:30-11:30AM at Banyan Cafe and Catering (Central Avenue)
• 11:30AM-2:00PM Craftsman House Gallery and Cafe (20% of proceeds from food and drink sales on May 1 go to us!)

Make a donation to PTB and join us at one of these locations throughout the day.  We will be hosting a 'Heart Bomb' at each location where you or other donors can show your love and  tell us what makes St. Pete special to you!  

A match up to $2,000 has been offered to PTB.  Every dollar of every donation will help PTB reach this match!
