The Pueblo Zoo is an Association of Zoos and Aquariums accredited institution serving Southern Colorado and the surrounding region. Our education programs reach nearly every elementary school student in Pueblo, and our conservation programs are helping to save African penguins, red pandas, and African painted dogs in the wild as they face the very real threat of extinction.
