Project Zero

Project Zero isn't like any other non profit in the state of Arkansas. 

We host everything from small special events to extra large epic events that benefit children, teens and sibling groups waiting in foster care to be adopted. There are currently 228 children waiting to be adopted.  Project Zero has three different types of events that we offer throughout the year, Hope Building Events, Connection Events and Fundraising Events. 

Since 2011, we have helped over 1,400 waiting kids find their forever family. In 2023, 163 waiting kids found their forever family through our annual connection events. 

Our biggest connection event is Disney Extravaganza!  

Last year 31 children and teens found their forever families at Disney Extravaganza!!

This year's event is June 1st in Little Rock at The Summit Church.  We will have 200 children and teens from around the state attend. Over 350 volunteers fully dressed in their disney characters best to treat their guests to a magical experience! Each child will be transported to our event by their Adoption Specialist or someone from their team! We also take this opportunity to show love to all DCFS staff that attend!

Our other guests who will also be attending are adopt-only families who are waiting to be matched with a child. These are families that have completed the necessary training and background checks with the hopes of growing their family through adoption! 

Walt Disney said it best "The most important thing is family". Our hope is to find a family for every child waiting for their forever family!

As cars, vans, and buses begin to arrive at the event that morning, they will be immersed in all things Disney! From amazing balloon decor, custom painted backdrops, delicious treats, characters, and who could forget the Disney Arch? Each child will receive a backpack, sunglasses, prizes and goodies as they make their way around the event while engaging with different families. 

There will be 70 booths with activities for children and teens to visit. We have volunteers who come from around the state to participate. We have local businesses, non profits, church groups, families and individuals that spend their Saturday with us! It is truly a blessing!

Our goal is to raise $30,000 towards our connection event on June 1st! 

- $50 Disney & Marvel character experience

- $100 Disney swag, treats and prizes for each child 

- $250 Allows one family and the Childs support team to attend
