Pulaski County Animal Wellness Services (PAWS) is a low-cost spay, neuter, and vaccination Clinic operated by Pulaski County Animal Control.  Our primary goal is to provide spay, neuter, and vaccines at low-cost to the Pulaski County community as well as pet education.

Your donation will help fund these services for our citizens who cannot afford full price veterinarian services.  These services will also be provided for feral cat colonies which will not only help reduce and stabilize populations but will help make the animals healthier. Which in return will help protect the citizens of the New River Valley.

This year we are also asking for your help in sending animals to rescue.  What exactly does it mean when we send these animals to a rescue? These are facilities and organizations which are no kill that will take animals from kill shelters such as ours and help them find a new, loving home.  Not only does this save the lives of many cats and dogs, it also helps to lower our euthanasia rate.

Did you know that it costs between $50- $70 to send just one animal on their freedom ride to a new life?  After sending 78 animals to rescue since June, our donation funds have been depleted. What can you do to help?   When you make a donation to our rescue fund this will help cover that cost so that we can continue to save as many lives as possible and help them find their forever home they all deserve!

Please help us build these funds to use for the cost of the surgeries and vaccines for our community as well as sending animals to no kill facilities.
