I became addicted to drugs with criminal behavior. I went to prison. I completed the RISE Getting Ahead program and I am now the RISE Emergency Relief Manager. Through it all, RISE has loved and supported me since the first Getting Ahead class. I will be graduating from Aims Community College in psychology. I will work with at risk youth once I complete my bachelor's degree at UNC. I have learned that nothing is impossible with the support I have gained; I can do anything I set my mind to do!
