Rachel's Table

Through the help of 200 plus volunteers, Rachel's Table distributes more than 400,000 pounds of food annually to approximately 40 agancies that serve the hungry and homeless.

Daily pick ups consist of leftover food that is donated by supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and caterers. Additionally, youth volunteers glean extra produce from local farms during the harvest season.

In addition to collecting food donations, Rachel's Table fundraises money to purcahse protein, produce, shelf stable milk, nutritious snacks for children, Thanksgiving meals, and Kosher food.

The Rachel's Table Teen Board trains the next generation of leaders to raise money for and awareness about local hunger issues.

Rachel's Table serves as a central address for the hunger community in Western Mass.
