Radnor Educational Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Radnor Educational Foundation (REF) is a beacon of support and innovation, deeply rooted in its commitment to enhancing the educational experience within the Radnor Township School District. Established with a vision to empower educators and elevate learning opportunities, REF has become an integral force in shaping the educational landscape in Radnor's five public schools for more than 3,500 students.

At the heart of REF's impact are its grant programs. These programs provide educators with the financial resources needed to turn innovative ideas into reality, fostering a dynamic and enriched learning environment. The foundation's three grant cycles - fall, winter, and spring - consistently attract a multitude of proposals, demonstrating how Radnor's educators continue to expand opportunities for more than 3,500 students in the district.

Grant programs range from a couple hundred dollars to several thousand dollars for school-specific and district-level programs, services, speakers and equipment. STEM curriculum programs and other Commonwealth-specific programs to meet state standards typically take priority for funding.

The foundation also administers its Neighbors Helping Neighbors program, a program that provides hardship funding to Radnor school families in need, working with social workers to identify and alleviate family needs that preclude students from learning.

For more than 30 years, REF is shaping the future for Radnor's students, fostering an environment where innovation, compassion, and educational empowerment thrive.
