Treasures 4 Teachers Inc

Each year teachers spend on average between $700 and $1000 out of their own pockets to fund supplies and materials for their students and classrooms.  As budget cuts continue and classroom sizes increase, the demand for affordable and free classroom supplies soar, Treasure 4 Teachers helps to offset the amount of money that teachers spend out of their own pockets.

Treasures 4 Teachers goes beyond just supplying a classroom. It creates new uses for many of the donated materials through repurposing. For example, bottle caps become fraction models, DVD cases become germination experiments, and strings of holiday lights become a basic electrical circuit. These are just a few examples of the innovative teaching tools developed by Treasures 4 Teachers.  In addition, lesson plans set to Arizona’s Educational Standards are developed and combined with these materials, creating a complete Educational Kit for teachers.   There are no other programs in Arizona doing what Treasures 4 Teachers does. This unique and innovative program focuses on the environment and supporting education, teachers, and students by providing creative hands-on materials.
