Rahr to the Rescue

Founded by Tara Harper Rahr and Frederick "Fritz" Rahr in 2021, Rahr to the Rescue's mission is to support rescue groups, shelters and dogs that have nowhere to turn through adoption events and donations. We are an all volunteer group where 100% of all donations go directly to saving dogs. There are so many incredible rescue groups in Dallas & Fort Worth that could do even more if they had the additional funding to support care for injured and neglected dogs. One of our goals is to supply emergency support because we don't want rescue groups depleting their operating capital on emergency cases. We help rescues with funding so they can save urgent dogs who desperately need help. This year we funded and placed 2 dogs that were in need in the shelters and had been hit by cars and have gone on to be adopted into loving forever homes. 

With the support of our community, we are saving dogs in Dallas & Fort Worth.
