Rainforest Partnership

A nonprofit organization

Rainforest Partnership protects, stabilizes and restores tropical rainforests by partnering with local and indigenous communities as guardians and economic participants while renewing harmony between people and nature.

Our holistic work builds the systemic change necessary to scale both ground-up local impact and radical global action to protect tropical rainforests and end deforestation by 2030.

Our approach is based on 6 critical strategies that target different root causes: Community Engagement & Empowerment, Sustainable Livelihoods, Conservation Science, Biodiversity Conservation & Forest Regeneration, Conservation Management & Governance, and Global Activation & Engagement. Together, they make up our 360° Integrated Approach to Rainforest Conservation. All of our projects are grounded in this strategy and address one or more of these 6 prongs aimed at immediate and long-term preservation of rainforests.

Testimonials

"I'm so glad that I had my first internship experience with Rainforest Partnership! I was blown away by how passionate, hardworking, supportive, and kind everyone on the team is. It is also lovely to see how dedicated each and every person (whether team member or volunteer) is to the mission and success of Rainforest Partnership. Despite being a relatively small group, the impact of their work in tropical rainforests and with indigenous communities is huge. I feel that my time here has been a great learning experience for me!"
