Raleigh Swimming Association

RSA has a rich history of team spirit, achievement, parent activism, community service and friendship which has made us the premier year-round swim team in the Raleigh area for over 50 years. However, this spring we were presented with an unexpected fate...the need to find a new home by the fall.  With the tremendous growth of the sport of swimming and lack of pool space in the area this has been a difficult task. 

However, we looked back to our roots and we have a plan! For over 30 years of RSA's 50+ year history we called Candler Swim Club our home.  The club has been shut down and for sale for many years now.  We have made very careful plans to purchase the club and renovate the pools.  With your help in raising the down payment we will make Candler Swim Club our permanent home.  In doing so we will completely rebuild the existing pools so that we have 2 brand new, 6 lane pools, as well as the existing bath house and gymnasium.  This project will not only benefit our members (ages 4 - 20) but also the greater Raleigh community through additional programming.

With your help in raising at least $350,000 to go towards construction we can be in our new facility by early fall.  While it sounds like a lot, if we all chip in and reach out to our friends as well we can make this happen!
