Celebrating 75 years of service to the county, the Rappahannock County Garden Club continues to bring together those interested in learning about horticulture, beautifying and serving our community,  our environment, and providing scholarships for continuing education.

• Have you planted the FREE native trees from Rappahannock in Bloom (Rappahannock County Garden Club [RCGC] & Friends of the Rappahannock annually since 2020? 
• Have you picked up free seeds, bulbs, garden giveaways, and kids books at the Annual Rappahannock Seed Swap sponsored by RCGC, Friends of the Rappahannock Co. Library (FOL) and Rapp Library since 2023?
• Did you or your friends enjoy the 2nd Annual Valentine Tea & sing along sponsored by RCGC, Rapp at Home, FOL, with musicians Hal & Danny?
• Have your shut in neighbors enjoyed the annual Spring Bouquets designed by the Garden Club and delivered by Rapp at Home volunteers since 2021?
• Has a young family member or friend been one of the hundreds of recipients of a RCGC scholarship for college, Rappahannock Nature Camp, or Vesuvius Nature Camp?
•  Have you purchased a locally crafted Holiday wreath, swag, or garland at the RCGC annual Greens Workshop that funds our local scholarships? 
• Do you enjoy the new native plants and pollinator gardens at the Rappahannock County Park?
• Have you helped our environment by recycling plastic bags at the Flatwood or Amissville Recycling Center as a collaborator with the RCGC and Rappahannock Co. Lions Club in the "Bags to Benches" project? And have you enjoyed sitting on the TREX recycled benches at the Rappahannock County Park, the Rappahannock Book Barn, and other public places in the county?

More About Us

The donations received today, in addition to the funds from our annual Holiday Greens Workshop, provide money for scholarships for local Rappahannock students. Our beautiful hand-made wreaths and swags, which go on sale annually in October for late November/early December delivery, can be viewed at our web site.
