WHO ARE WE?

Reachout Women's Center was established in 1973, to serve vulnerable women and children in the Tucson and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide loving support, education, and resources for pre-and post-natal women and their babies. By providing these services, we work towards helping mothers choose life for their unborn babies.

 

Reachout provides confidential peer counseling, free pregnancy testing, and ultrasounds. We help mothers in need with material support including diapers, baby formula, baby and toddler clothes, and other necessities. Reachout Women's Center is a 501(c)(3) organization and qualifies for the Arizona Tax Credit for the Working Poor.

Distinguishing features of Reachout Women's Center:

• All services are offered free of charge with no financial or religious obligation;
• Provides material assistance to parents and their children in need;
• Integrated referral system to various social service organizations, including adoption agencies;
• Provides non-judgmental pregnancy counseling;
• Facilitates health and relationship programs for schools and youth organizations.

 

PROGRAMS FREE OF CHARGE

Limited Medical Program- Provides ultrasounds for pregnant women at six weeks and up; first-time pregnancy tests and/ or verification pregnancy tests for AHCCCS enrollment; prenatal vitamins to women with medical need to keep mom and baby healthy.

Material Assistance Program- Offers women not just emotional support, but the material support necessary to care for babies by diaper, clothing, hygiene items distribution and layettes to pregnant women ($150)

Baby Formula & Food Program- All Reachout moms and dads are able to obtain a free supplemental supply of baby formula and baby food for emergency need.

Education Programs- Reachout aims to educate, empower and support women and men finding themselves in a crisis pregnancy by offering Parenting and Caring for Newborn classes, Potty-Training classes and Lactation and Breastfeeding classes.

Reachout encourages parents to choose life for their unborn babies by offering confidential pre- and post natal counseling, pregnancy services, educational programs and providing them with referral support.
