Rebound - Alternatives for Youth

Rebound, Alternatives for Youth provides a place where the community and the school work together to support students who have been suspended short-term from high school. Students who attend Rebound while suspended get a fresh start:  their school records show "present" for days that would otherwise show up as suspensions and absences.

In the 2017-2018 school year,  students attended Rebound during 438 suspensions. They received one on one mentoring, tutoring, conflict resolution strategies, mediation, and other services. As a result, those students returned to school ready to succeed, and almost 1500 school days were recovered, rather than lost.
